Hello! Could I ask you for an email address to send my resume? thanks!?
My husband and I stopped by here by chance while driving the edge of the island. Their food was by far the best food we had on our whole honeymoon! I wish I had asked for their recipe for Garlic Fried Rice, I still dream about it!!! The shop is cute and small with Heavenly food ❤
MoreGreat prices for grab and go bento plate style lunches
The Ahi Don and Lamb here is incredible. Comes with light salad and ginger rice. So flavorful and yummy! There's very limited seating so go on an off time or be prepared to hang out for a bit.
MoreIf you didn't know it was there you might just walk by, but this is a place you should absolutely stop in and sit for a meal. Sauteed local lamb and Ahi Don both amazing choices. The space is small but what they lack in size they make up for in flavor.
MoreAffordable and most importantly local friendly....
Good place with cold dishes and great service. I didnt love the lamb dish I got. I felt it was lacking flavour. The Japanese curry my wife got she really enjoyed
MoreGood price. Great customer service. Delicious food!
Quaint place right in the middle of downtown. Has great food and awesome staff.
Good little diner, friendly service and good food. Really liked the garlic fried rice and chicken katsu. Worth stopping by for a quick bite if you are in the area
MoreAmazing little lunch spot. Garlic rice is a must if you get the choice to add a side.
MoreFood is very yummy here the garlic rice is the bomb...
Wierd looking place with delicious food. That says it all :)
Good food with Aloha customer service! Small place but food experience is Fantastic!
Morelovely food and really friendly staff. fast and delicious!
Very good place for authentic Hawaiian food. The food was delicious and service was quick. The place is very small so tables are limited.
MoreThe Hawaii blue book brought us to this little kitchen HIGHLY recommending this place. We were a little skeptical, but we were all starving. It was an amazing dinner. Service was nice and kind. Our family still makes jokes about the 80% full sign years later. We still remember this kitchen to be the best dinner of our trip.
MoreTasty food, though not quite authentic Indian. Quick service.
The food is quite good. At this local, friendly restaurant. However, look for the board on the wall to the left as you enter with low priced options. The menu has very good options but they're quite pricey. This menu seems to be aimed at the cruise people. What is served is delicious and plentiful, but if you're watching pennies look for the specials on the wall as you enter.
MoreBest quick bite around. It is not cheap, but it also super yummy and inexpensive compare to other places in town. Chicken katsu is $13, the lamb combo $18, is some of the best lamb I had, I usually don't like them. Rice is super good as well. Highly recommended.
MoreSmall asian menu restaurant with seating for about 20. The people were friendly and the food was good and plenty of it. I had the Japanese curry which was tasty. Prices seemed about average for the area. It is close to the ocean and want too crowded although we went about an hour before closing
MorePuka Puka Kitchen produces big flavor from a tiny restaurant. Striking presentation is a hint of the delicious flavor laid out on the plate. The fancy green salad and awesome fried rice accompany an entree that is a delicious treat. Try it...you'll like it!
MoreGreat hole on the wall restaurant. The place is very small but the food was amazing. I got the lamb pita and it was incredible. I see myself coming here for lunch often.
MoreAmazing local find, the lamb was divine the salad veggies crisp and fresh.
Love their this chicken katsu plate! Katsu is so good even with the curry rice!! Staff is very nice too! Recommend here!
MoreVery good food and friendly service. Would go back
Amazing food, pretty quality and good serving and nice place to be around too.
Had a nice lunch here( had the veg. Don) , prices are cheap , staff is friendly and food was really good!!! Hope to come back one day
MoreWe stopped here for the unagi Bento! Great prices here especially for unagi, it was super tender and came with side dishes that complimented the unagi in flavour as well as texture.
MoreAdorable restaurant that takes the time to tend and create their dishes. The curry reminded me of home and for a restaurant to do that, is nothing short of a miracle
MoreChicken Katsu is the BEST!! Curry rice is also a Winner!!
Great service and good food at affordable prices
Fast service. Reasonably priced. Dishes come with rice and salad. Fresh. Flavours are subtle enough for a kid but seasoned well enough to satisfy an adult. We drove from Kona to Hilo and couldn't be happier to make this stop for lunch before our Hilo Farmers Market adventures.
MorePolite, neat little place on downtown Hilo. We tried the seafood platter, and were definitely pleased. Every part of it was great, and the salad too, was even excellent. Stop in right about when they open, it filled up quickly!
MoreGreat local food for a great price!
YOU MUST HAVE A PLATE. Great local owned eatery. Closes at 2:30 pm
Awesome hole in the wall in Hilo. Nice location and great food for the price! Quick service and wonderful staff.
MoreLovely little place. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing! Highly recommend.
MoreI had the BBQ chicken. The salad has to be one of the best salads I've ever eaten. I mean it was sitting next to BBQ chicken and I still ate it first, it was that good. Delicious meal - make a stop here!
MoreSmall quaint restraunt serving local Japanese along with lamb and falefel.
You can either order the bigger plates or grab one of the packaged assortments to go. The assortments range from $2-$5, good food for even better prices. Spam musubi was only $2 and comes with 2 thin slices of tamagoyaki. The spam musubi was great, and the tamagoyaki was better than some of the ones I had in Japan!
MoreThe lamb was perfect. So was the salad. This hole in the wall is a gem.
Great ready-to-go bento boxes.
The hostess is very friendly. We ordered lamb. It's perfect, as described by another reviewer. The salad is delicious. The garlic (tasted like curry) rice is very nice, too. After we finished that plate, we added a chicken tatsu plate. Very delicious, too. Crispy outside and tender inside.
MoreFantastic little lunch spot! The food was truly delicious, and the service was above and beyond. We were served by Lei, who greeted us warmly and was extremely cheerful and helpful. We really felt like she cared about the customers and it made the experience fantastic. We felt the Aloha there! Thank you Lei. Highly recommend.
Morebest veggie don EVER
We love this quaint little cafe near Hilo Bay. The food is consistently good and the service is top shelf. Try the lamb pita for lunch, it is a favorite for us.
MoreI got crispy shrimp dish for lunch and BBQ eels bento for my Mountain Kea sunset trip dinner. The BBQ Eels bento is so so good.
MoreEating here was one of my favorite experiences on the island. The staff is so warm and friendly. The food is absolutely worth the price. Portions are geneeous and so flavorful. You can't go weong with the ahi options. I didn't think I would like cooked ahi, its so good raw! But I did not regret my decision and neither will you if you eat here!
MoreCute little hole in the wall restaurant in downtown Hilo with a few tables. The fried seafood and ahi plates with fried rice and fresh salad were tasty. The bulk of their business seemed to be take out orders & bentos. Due to limited space and staff combined with take out orders called in, the wait time can be a little longer than expected but so worth it.
MoreGreat vegetarian falafel option!
